Can I Have Gluten?

The are a couple reason why it is suggested to remove gluten during the time of healing. Does it mean it always has to be removed out of your diet? Not all the time, it depends on the person.

Some reasons gluten is suggested to be removed is because:

  • It is extremely hard to digest when you have a poor functioning gut
  • Depending on the type of gluten you are consuming, the chemicals added can be irritating to the body
  • You could have build up a sensitivity to gluten which when eaten will make matters worse
  • Synthetic vitamins and minerals added to the gluten can cause more harm then good

If you decide you want to add gluten back in after you feel your gut is up to par, make sure you try organic gluten. There is a very big difference between organic and non organic gluten. You don’t want to be adding chemicals and synthetic vitamins and minerals into the body after you did all that work of healing.

Start slow and see if you get a reaction. I would try gluten for one day and wait at least a week to see how you are feeling.

Still stuck? Submit you question.
